Program Information

Participants earn $17.00/hour for all time worked at their assigned internships in U-M unit or local community nonprofit. Students are not paid for attending classes or lectures or completing coursework. D-SIP interns do not work on Memorial Day or Independence Day. Students may choose to enroll in D-SIP for credit or as a not-for-credit internship. However, participants will be expected to attend all class sessions and complete assignments regardless of credit status. The program runs May 9, 2023 through July 28, 2023.
