About
Mission
The Office of University Development maximizes private support for the University of Michigan by collaborating with the development programs of our schools, colleges, and units. We also provide fundraising leadership by cultivating and maintaining relationships with colleagues, alumni, friends, foundations, and corporations. Above all, we are dedicated to fortifying Michigan’s place as one of the finest public research universities in the world.
Values
Open and Honest Relationships
Rewarding relationships are at the heart of everything we do. We continually review our work through the eyes of our partners—both internal and external—and go out of our way to anticipate and exceed their expectations. We work as a team with U-M faculty, staff, alumni, and donors to continually build a stronger University.
Passion for the University of Michigan Mission
We enthusiastically support the University's mission to serve the people of Michigan and the world through preeminence in creating, communicating, preserving, and applying knowledge, art, and academic values, and in developing leaders and citizens who will challenge the present and enrich the future.
